Name: Honoka
Age: 16
Family: Before getting a job at the hotel as a baker in Bellwood Village as a baker and candy decorator, she did work for a family shop.
Job: She does work in Bellwood Village as a baker and candy decorator in a Bellwood Cafe.
Personality: She’s very optimistic and one of those girls who always would look on the bright side of life, including at her job, she does at least try to make her customers satisfied. She’s also very determined when it comes to doing her own work, and does do the job justice. Although she does feel sad at times since she does miss her family at times, she does try not to cry, as she does keep her head up. Once something is on her mind, nothing could stop her, like her at least learning to try out new things. She’s also very persistent when it comes to listening to her boss, and tries to learn something new, like a new recipe, or anything across those lines. Whenever she is on break, she does eat strawberries and whipped cream, as that’s her favorite food for desert and breakfast. She does have her serious moments, but, if only she gets into a fight with a customer, but, she does at least calm down and try to keep her head up to make her day feel better instead of dreading on a problem. In the end, Honoka is a loving, sweet girl that loves to work hard and tries everything to at least make someone feel better, including a customer.
Background: Back in her hometown, Honoka was born in Japan, being born in a sweet’s shop where her mother and sister owned one. Ever since she was a young girl, she wanted to be a baker, and so, her mother taught her recipes from cupcakes to cookies. She was happy with the results, and even helped the family business by coming up with some ideas on her own. Sometimes for her mother, she was having a hard time coming up with ideas and the business was starting to go down. As the business was slowly going down, Honoka did start to feel sad and got into some depressive state, but, then in the end, she got back up and started to sell some deserts and became the store manager, which helped the business go back on top. As she was working, she was happy to seeing more and more customers going into the store. One day, she was online and then found a place in Belleville, looking for a baker and candy decorator. So, she filled out an application online and even sent out her resume. She then started to send out the important sheets to the place and she was holding onto hope to earn that job. She then got an e-mail a couple of weeks later and she got the job. So, as a result, she had to move from her own family business in Japan. Although it was hard to say good bye to her mother and sister, her mother did have cofidence in her doing a good job at another business. So, her mother had to drive her to the airport and drop her sister off, giving her all her clothing and recipes that she grew up with incase she had a place to live. Honoka gave her mother one more hug and started to go onto the plane, and although it was a long plane ride, she did get a text from her mother saying that she would be able to visit her sister on video chat or her laptop, even yet, visiting her in person, checking up on her. As soon as she got to Belleville, she went to the Bellwood Cafe and started her job, and although some customers were tough and some were nice, she still had that same optimism that she had back when she was working with her mom at the shop before experiencing this new job.
Hidden Secrets: She’s bi-sexual, and she experienced one relationship with a girl outside of work back in Japan, and she discovered that she’s more toward women than men, but, she’s fine either way. She doesn’t reveal her sexuality much unless she talks about it to someone whom she really trusts.
