Personality: Heath is everything a royal shouldn’t, yet a delinquent should be. He’s loud-mouthed, brash, and overly vain. He likes to think of himself as the "guys want to be me, girls want to date me"-type, neither of which he actually is. He is impulsive and has no patience. He comes off as having no regards to other people's thoughts and emotions. Heath likes flirting with other women and playing with their hearts, like openly flirting in front of the person he was flirting with previously. However, he cares for others deep down. He can act really childish and is easily influenced. Perhaps this is how he got his own attitude...
Background: The relationship between the king and queen of the Salamanders is not a stable one. King Hao’s decision to marry Rosalia seemed like a good idea at the time, but a few days after the marriage, it went south. The queen was seen flirting with some members of the guard. Heartbroken, Hao took influence from the dragons and took many women from other lands to make concubines with. Rosalia knew about this and continued messing around with the guards and servants regardless of her husband’s affair. This continued for many years. Although they should have stopped some time after their son’s birth, but they continued cheating on each other. It was a force of habit.
Heath grew up under the protection of the royal guard, only visiting his parents when lessons on royalty came around, but it didn’t stop him from spending more time with them. During one of his visits, he witnessed his mother kiss a servant. He was initially confused, but his father explained the situation. He told him that love isn’t as cracked up to be. Heath took those words to heart and started flirting at a young age. As he grew older, he noticed more of the king and queen’s fights. He started to grow more rebellious because of that. He neglected his royal duties and ran away. The salamander checked into a hotel and hopes not to be found. However, as much as he doesn’t want to admit it, he wishes to go back.
Hidden Secrets: Despite coming off as confident, he is still struggling with his powers and wants his attitude to improve. He wonders whether or not he will be a good heir to the throne… or at least better than his parents were at doing so.
