She never really takes anything seriously except when there's a major threat, when anyone decides to mess with her newly-finished tidal pool, or when somebody gets injured. You enjoys singing, dancing, and cooking. She often speaks her mind, despite how much she may hurt others doing so, but she has good intentions. She’s extremely athletic; some of her favorite sports include swimming and doing the high dive at the hotel pool. You is also extremely curious and helpful. She gets hurt easily, literally and figuratively.
Background: You lived with a pod of dolphins around the Grecian islands. She spent most of her days under the water swimming with her family or sitting upon a rock singing her heart out. Unlike sirens, nereids helped seafarers when they were in trouble. You was always fascinated with humans ever since she could remember. Sometimes, she even sneaked away from her watery home and joined a couple of children playing on the beach. She got a little carried away and ended up joining a swim team. She competed in many events, but was looked down on by the other older members of the team for being too young. However, one boy, named Haruka believed in her and wanted You to continue to strive forward, being the best she could be. Haruka was the only person that she could trust with her secret.
One night, she lead her “big brother” onto the beach, calling out to the dolphins that she had made a new friend. She immediately transformed to her true form upon their arrival. You gave her new friend one last hug before returning back to the ocean. The nymph returned to the surface a few years later because she missed it so much. She needed somewhere to stay for her time being. Some other creatures recommended a hotel all the way in Transylvania that allowed creatures and humans alike, so You went there and checked in.
